Ourselves to Know..........
I took a little pilgrimage on the way home from my camping trip in The Dampier.
Sort of a way of connecting with Old and New Friends.........
It took the form of divers travel: Phoenician Barks, Camel Caravans, Arab Stallions, and quite a bit of Shank's Mares ....
Naturally I put it to music and did a bit of the Cinema-Verite thing with it:
It reminds me a bit of this from back in the ..... you know..... Dark and Angry Period
Holy Grail
I guess the more things change the more they stay the same ................

More Dumb Things
Well Remember how I said I would share some of my dumber things? ----
Well in addition to learning that; Hang gliding over the Sea of Gallilee, while really cool and all, is, at the end of the day, just hang gliding over the Sea of Gallilee , and that even an old broom sweeps clean.... if you pay enough and keep at it.....
......Recently I learned how dumb it could be to ignore a subtle warning !
Subtle Warning ?!? ..........Heck, I can ignore even great big Bullhorn warnings mate !!
That's what I'm made for!

Day Before Race Day --- I've done all the Dumb Things
Yep -- It's a little bit crazy to be running a half marathon at all, with everything on my plate ---- much less 1 month after getting blown up at Hordern --- But -- "I've done all the dumb things" (more on that later in my next post -- I realize that I haven't written at all about Hordern in the Blog -- yet ?!?)
Well, in any case, It's On for Young and Old -- Tomorrow!
I just got my Bib -- Look at the Number:
That's gotta be a lucky number -- because Deirdre ( The Girl I don't take Quantam Mechanics with) says it "sums to a number that can be expressed as a product of primes!!
Anyway the course is beautiful. Lake Burley Griffin and The Parliament House are great spots, and we run across Galliopli Reach under the Anzac Mermorial, but we pass this one simple monument that always speeds me up in training.
It may be a little hokey ...but I've become a tad more sensitive to concepts like this since Hordren Pavillion

First Snagglepuss, then Cthulu, then Taft ....Now FAME! is running ??!?
Not that Kind of running Mates !
But I will be back in Canberra for the Canberra Marathon on the Ides of April !
The whole Hordern Pavilion set me back a bit -- but we can't let the Terrorists and Didgeredonts Stop us eh ???
As far as I'm concerned the race is on !!

Hey all sorry for the slow blog entries ( though there is still more musical entertainment here then in any of the other blogs)
But right now I'm taking a page from Nigel's playbook and jumping in for a quick question and hoping that my readers can help me out.
Just answer this simple question better then your peers and a Prototype Barfpad is coming your way !!
That's right one of these hard to get babies for your own not Blake Bucks or Fame bucks but the real mcCoy a Barfpad ! (your choice of design)
Here's the question:
"Describe innovative uses of multiple barf pad prototypes ( suppose -- just suppose someone had say 8 of these things ) in the context of saving the world.
Consider many and disparate applications to improve your answer including but not limited to:
Skullduggery
Information transfer
Communication
Stage effects
Combat
Meeting Cinnabar Doxiadis
and of course etc.
